Since your presentation will be in English, I'll be lazy today and reply in English with something I believe is really interesting about sugar gliders, namely that both parents are involved in taking care of the joeys (well, that's another fun fact about them, aussies call sugar glider babies - or for that matter, marsupial babies, in general - joeys).

So, the babies emerge from the pouch at about 60 days after birth, meaning that they can hang around their mother or ride on her back, but also that they are old enough to be left alone in the nest. well, not really alone, since the male (their father) keeps them warm, and cleans them as the mother is out eating, streching, etc. the older they get, the father gets more and more involved with "educating" the youngsters, through playing. this way they learn how to be part of a sugar glider group, but also vital behaviours, such as how to fight and escape.

another interesting fact is that they have different vocalizations that reflect their affective state. in other words, you'll know from the sounds they make whether they're frightened, annoyed, irritated, they enjoy the food, they are angry and aggressive, lonely… or if they have a health problem.

like all other marsupials (and similarly to birds and reptiles) they have a cloaca, meaning that they urinate and defecate through one and the same hole.

they're both extremely anxious, but also very curious - I think in Australia, the old English proverb "curiosity killed the cat" should become "curiosity killed the sugar glider". nevertheless, they do live rather long lives, given their small size - up to 15 years in captivity, up to 10-12 in the wild. They also have a very long fertility time, meaning that they can keep on making babies until they're 10 years old.

another funny fact is that they're gregarious, and by that I mean I could give them a new toy which they might ignore for weeks, until one shows interest in it. that's enough to have a new hit or launch a new fashion trend - they're all be there, kick and wrestle to get a spot on the new toy or so… not so different from humans after all :)

If by any chance you'll have to answer the question about how should one house sugar gliders in Sweden, please mention that the requirements are pretty drastic, and a proper sugar glider enclosure, according to Swedish legislation, should be at least 4 square meters and 2,2m tall.
